This φ260mm × 1600mm 4-high reversible aluminum foil finishing mill was manufactured by Kobe, Japan. The mill is designed for aluminum foil precision rolling and finishing applications, with high rolling speed, stable tension control, and reliable thickness control.
The mill adopts hydraulic press-up screwdown, with a reduction rate of 30–70% and forward slip of 0–20%. The main mill motor is 1 × DC 360 kW, 0–735 / 1600 rpm. The uncoiler and recoiler are equipped with 2 × DC 27 kW motors, 0–450 / 1500 rpm, using Mitsubishi motors. The sleeve size is φ565mm × φ565mm × 1600mm.
The equipment supports a maximum rolling speed of 1200 m/min, maximum recoiling speed of 1440 m/min, and maximum uncoiling speed of 945 m/min, with a total speed deviation of ±2%. In 2023, the mill was upgraded with a Honeywell thickness control system, a full digital DC drive system, and a spray system controlled by Marlot valves.
